Come to The Poetry Gym for a creativity workout at Gladstone Brewing Company’s Engine Room on Saturday April 25th from 8 - 9:30 p.m.
No previous poetry experience necessary!
Nine Poetry Walk poets will be personal trainers at stations where you can customize your creative workout while enjoying the live ambient music of Nate Schmold and songs by the ookoolaydeez.
- Check out a live poetry booth and have a poem written just for you.
- Have a seat at a Spark Station to write with your friends, with strangers, or solo.
- Immerse yourself in the surreal pleasure of writing using the Exquisite Corpse technique.
- Participate in building a community poem.
- Belly up to the Metaphor Bar for a little linguistic inspiration.
- Relax in a quiet corner with a poet, close your eyes, and listen to a personal reading.
