Saturday December 5th - Collagraphy printing
Collagraphy is a printmaking process where materials are glued to a rigid surface to create a plate, which is then inked and pressed onto paper to produce a print. The term combines Greek words meaning "glue" and "drawing," reflecting its technique of assembling textures to form images.
In addition to learning the art of collagraphy, participants will learn how to set up your printmaking station, use the press, ink your plate and print it.
Materials are included.
Workshop Fee $40 - please register online at Campbell River Art Gallery.
