More Information (CKCC The Raven 100.7 is not responsible for external websites)
Take part in this meaningful community event to honour loved ones while supporting compassionate end-of-life and grief programs for children, youth & adults in our community. Participants collect pledges, walk a 3-km loop & gather at the Hospice Care Centre for a heartfelt memorial ceremony & butterfly release, where each participant will release an ethically sourced Painted Lady butterfly in memory of someone special. It’s $40 per person to take part, which includes the butterfly release & ceremony.
Proceeds raised benefit the Campbell River Hospice Society, supporting children, youth & adults through their grief & end-of-life journey at no cost. It’s from 9am-12pm in the Serenity Garden of the Hospice Center at 4-40 Evergreen Road in Campbell River. To register as an individual or team or for more information, visit A Walk to Remember.
