The 2025-26 rugby season is about to get underway in Campbell River, and the local association says they’re looking for a few more hands to help keep the club growing strong.

There’s a big celebration coming up in Comox as CATS Rescue - Cat Advocates Teaching and Saving Society - is inviting everyone to a free Community Appreciation Day on Saturday, September 13th, from 12pm to 2pm at their shelter on Knight Road.

The Comox Strathcona Waste Management service is asking for public feedback to help better manage garbage, recycling, food and other waste over the next decade.
